Role Descriptions

As part of the Charity and Environment team, students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of organisations and charities such as Phab Kidz and WE. Student Leaders meet regularly to promote a positive change in school. WE school programme provides students with a range of educational resources that raises awareness to issues worldwide to empower students to make a change in the world. Student leaders will have the opportunity to plan global and local action to make a difference, from collecting food for local banks, to fundraising to improve access of water around the world. To celebrate their hard work and achievements, students can earn tickets to WE Day concert.

Student Leader Expectations

Student Leaders will need to attend and coordinate their own meetings.

Student Leaders will have an opportunity to plan and take a lead in assemblies.

Student Leaders will support in the organisation of all charity initiatives throughout the year.

Staff Support

Miss Limbachia will be available to guide and support however the student leaders will be central to the innovation of charity and the environment at Woodbrook Vale

The girls in the charity team took the initiative to create a Recycling Campaign video for the whole school. They scripted, filmed and edited the whole thing without any teacher lead input, please watch below.
